1 The Koh-i-Noor is a diamond so expensive that it does not have a price tag. Thought to be worth around £1Billion it is the property of the British Crown. It is a flawless 105.6 carat white diamond whose name means ‘Mountain of Light’ in Persian.
2. The Sancy is another diamond so rare that it is priceless. It is contained within the French Crown Jewel collection. It is a pale yellow 55.23 carat diamond shaped like a shield.
3 The Cullinan is the largest rough gem quality diamond ever found. Polished it is still 530.2 carats. It is worth 337 million Euros and has been dubbed the ~Great Star of Africa.”
4 The Hope Diamond is a blue diamond weighing 45.52 carats and worth 250 million Euros. It is currently stored at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC.

It was bought from the Hyderabad Royal family in 1960 by jewellers Van Cleef & Arpels, who named it the Princie after the son of Sita Devi, the Maharanee of Baroda, an extravagant and famous socialite living in Paris. It is worth 33 million Euros.
